About Me

I’m not going to blab on about myself in this space so I’ll give you the short and sweet. I love design and have done some freelance interior design in the past. I went to school at George Mason University for Advertising and graduated in 2006 realizing that I needed a much more creative outlet. I went back to school last year through the online Interior Design Institute to earn another degree. My real passion is injecting new life into things. Whether it be an old, unorganized room, an old piece of furniture that needs some love, or a random piece of wood searching for a purpose. The average person passes by beautiful things just waiting to be revealed.

My husband, Brian, and I just bought our first home in Sterling, VA. There is endless exposure to markets, wineries, antique shops and of course, Old Lucketts Store in Leesburg, VA! We are lucky to live in this area where we can go hunting for great things!

Interesting side note… my love for trees inspired our wedding theme in October 2010. Here are some photos of related items.
